What swap-free means
When you hold a leveraged position overnight, the broker credits or debits a swap, which reflects the interest-rate difference between the two currencies. A swap-free (Islamic) account removes those interest payments. Brokers usually replace them with something else, most often an administration fee after a position has been open for a set number of days.

Does FxPro offer it?
Yes. FxPro says it offers swap-free accounts for religious purposes and that you apply by email to its back office. It also says that fees may be applied once trades on certain instruments are open for a specific number of days. FxPro does not publish that schedule on the FAQ page, so ask for it.
How to request swap-free status
- Open your FxPro account and complete verification first.
- Email FxPro’s back office at backoffice@fxpro.com from the address registered on your profile, asking for swap-free status for religious reasons.
- Name the trading accounts it should apply to, by account number.
- Wait for FxPro’s written confirmation before you hold positions overnight.
Questions to ask before you trade
- Which instruments carry a holding fee on a swap-free account, and after how many days?
- How is the fee calculated: a fixed amount per lot, or a percentage?
- Are any instruments excluded from swap-free status?
- Under what conditions can swap-free status be removed?
- Does the status apply automatically to new accounts I open later?
Keep FxPro’s answer with your records. If its terms change, it should tell you, but it is easier to check against something in writing.
Is a swap-free account halal?
That is a religious question, and scholars do not all agree about leveraged CFD trading, with or without swaps. A broker can remove interest from an account, but it cannot tell you whether the product meets your requirements. If it matters to you, ask a scholar you trust and show them the broker’s written terms.
Swap-free and your costs
Removing swaps does not change the spread or commission. On Raw+ you still pay $3.50 per side; on Standard the cost is still in the spread. See raw versus standard spreads for worked examples.
